HCC’s Teesta IV HEP project on the Brahmaputra Basin in West Bengal has been bestowed with the prestigious Vishwakarma Award under the category ‘Best Construction Project – Power’ in March 2017. The Vishwakarma Award is organised by the Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC), which is set up jointly by the Planning Commission, Government of India and the Indian construction industry. This 160MW project has been recognised for its massive size, complex construction process and the various challenges faced during construction.
This is the seventh Consecutive year that HCC’s Project has been bestowed with the Vishwakarma Award.
